Welcome to
my blog. I love tutoring and I am
endorsed by the Math Departments at USF and UT.
Tutoring is
so rewarding since I can see the students’ grades and comprehension increase
immediately. When tutoring I can
customize each lesson to fit the individual student’s learning style and offer
several different techniques for solving each particular problem. Then the student can decide which explanation
makes the most sense for them.
My
background includes teaching math in the public schools and post secondary
schools in the Tampa area. My favorite
subject is Algebra.
Over the years I developed many techniques to
help my students understand math. I use
many creative, visual, special, and auditory methods to explain concepts so
that students suddenly “get it” for the first time. For comments from some of my University of
